RustyTorch++ — Phase 0 Plan (Foundation, Vision & Agent Hooks)
Phase 0 update (paths & repo layout): We will start by creating the directory tree under /home/osobh/projects/rustytorch, linking to the GPU‑native compiler /home/osobh/projects/rust/rustg (RTX 5090 sm_120) and preparing deployment references to Stratoswarm at /home/osobh/projects/stratoswarm. Darwin integration will be deferred to a later phase.

Phase 0 Goals
Repository & Workspace Setup
Create all required directories and Cargo.toml workspace configuration.
Link rustg compiler as a path dependency.
Set up rust-toolchain.toml with required Rust version and targets.
Baseline Build & Compiler Integration
Compile minimal crate with rustg to confirm RTX 5090 sm_120 compatibility.
Validate that GPU kernel compilation artifacts are cached in target/kernel_cache/.
Agent Environment Bootstrapping
Install and register all Phase 0 MCP subagents (Rust Engineer, Performance Engineer, DevOps Engineer, etc.).
Configure toolchains for code linting, formatting, performance profiling, and testing.
Documentation & Onboarding
Create docs/phase0.md to describe architecture vision, repo structure, and initial build steps.
Document rustg integration process and GPU architecture target settings.
CI/CD Bootstrap
Add CI workflows to lint, build, and run basic GPU smoke tests.
Configure caching for kernel builds to speed up iterative development.
Phase 0 Completion Criteria
Repository tree and workspace fully set up.
rustg successfully compiles minimal GPU kernel for RTX 5090.
All core agents installed and functional.
Documentation ready for Phase 1 onboarding.
CI pipeline passing initial build and test checks.
